Overview of the role
We are seeking an excellent educator to join our teaching staff in Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll be an experienced Primary teacher (2 years +), delivering the English National Curriculum in a PYP framework curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key. We are a small school, but continuing to grow - we are looking for flexible, engaging teachers who want to work in an environment where great ideas are valued, and where hard work leads to visible results.
Key requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Skilled and experienced in Primary School teaching, ideally with experience of the IB PYP and/or National Curriculum for England
- An understanding of systematic synthetic phonics and mastery/Singapore Math would be advantageous
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching
- Recent experience of working with students from a variety of cultures
- Experience of working with students with a range of different needs, including high attaining students.
- Demonstrated evidence of raising the achievement and standards of students
- Experience of delivering a broad, balanced and academically ambitious curriculum
- Evidence of recent participation in continuing professional development
