Overview of the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to take on the dual role of Pastoral Lead and Class Teacher at Vietnam Tinh Hoa. This unique position combines classroom teaching (50% contact time) with whole-school pastoral leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our pastoral care systems, behavior management policies, and PSHE curriculum while maintaining their role as an outstanding classroom practitioner. Key Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Additional qualifications in pastoral care or student wellbeing (advantageous)
Experience and Expertise:
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience, with demonstrated pastoral leadership
- Proven track record in developing and implementing whole-school behavior management systems
- Experience in coordinating PSHE curriculum and student wellbeing programs
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for behavior and wellbeing tracking
- Understanding of both National Curriculum for England and IB PYP framework
- Experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to support students with varying needs
- Evidence of continuing professional development in pastoral care and teaching
