We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Head of Inclusion and Pastoral Care to lead and strengthen inclusive practice, wellbeing, and behaviour culture across our Primary and Lower Secondary phases, You will join an ambitious developing school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which works closely with NLCS International, blending Vietnamese cultural identity with a 170-year tradition of academic excellence. Strong collaboration, clarity of communication, and a deep commitment to student care and progress are essential.

This role would suit either an experienced SENCO or inclusion lead ready for a senior leadership position, or a pastoral leader with strong systems knowledge who wishes to deepen their impact on whole-school inclusion. The postholder will oversee provision for students aged 4–13, ensuring that all learners, including those with SEND and SEMH needs, are supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are a small school over just over 100 students, so being comfortable with a wide age range of students is essential.

You will lead the development of inclusive systems and pastoral structures across the school, including identification and support planning, intervention tracking, behaviour leadership, PSHE provision, and student wellbeing. A key focus will be building strong, consistent practice that supports high expectations, calm learning environments, and positive relationships. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals, and will play a central role in shaping school culture as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The role includes leadership of learning support and pastoral care, oversight of student wellbeing systems, contribution to staff professional development, and active involvement in whole-school improvement. Regular engagement with parents and the wider school community is an expected and valued aspect of the role.

A competitive international package is offered, including housing, flights, health insurance, professional development, and tuition for up to two children.
