Vietnam Tinh Hoa Senior School: (Opening with Grade 6 [UK Year 7] in August 2025) Located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Full-time position starting in August 2025

Viet Nam Tinh Hoa, supported by North London Collegiate School International, blends Vietnamese cultural heritage with NLCS’s 170-year legacy of academic excellence. We offer rigorous academics, a dual-language program, and personalized care through small classes. Our teachers and our students are our greatest assets. With a thriving Primary phase established for three years, we are excited to launch our first senior school year group in August 2025 and an exciting hybrid enrichment programme to a wider community from January 2026.

Context

The school will open its first Grade 6 (UK Year 7) in August 2025. This will be a small cohort following a programme of study based on the International Baccalaureate’s (IB’s) Middle Years Programme (IBMYP). Our first Year 7 classes will be taught in newly designed learning spaces on the Junior campus in 2025.

In January 2026 the school will aim to open a part-time hybrid online and in-person enrichment programme for students aged 11 to 13 who aspire to enter the school as full-time students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 in August 2026, when all classes for students in Grade 6 and above will transfer to the school’s purpose-built secondary campus.

Position Overview

This is a truly unique opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to establish and shape new school-based programmes, first for Grade 6 (Year 7) students and then for students in Grade 7 and 8. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building strong foundations for the curriculum in our growing secondary school and for an innovative academic hybrid outreach and enrichment programme for students who wish to join the school from August 2026. There is scope for this role to develop into a middle leadership position as the school and hybrid enrichment grows.
